CTP - Closest to the Pin

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Closest to the Pin ("CTP") platform, including our web dashboard and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

CTP is a golf tournament management platform that provides tools for golf clubs and resorts to organize tournaments, manage members, track scores in real-time, display leaderboards, and facilitate communications. Our mobile app provides GPS yardage, live scoring, and scorecard management for golfers.

3. User Accounts

Access to CTP requires an account. Accounts are created by club administrators who invite members to the platform. By using your account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your login credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Club Administrators

Club administrators are responsible for managing their club's membership, tournaments, and communications. Administrators agree to use the platform in accordance with applicable laws and to obtain appropriate consent before adding members or sending email communications through our broadcast feature. Administrators are responsible for the accuracy of member data they enter into the system.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Submit false scores or manipulate tournament results
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
Use the email broadcast feature for spam or unsolicited commercial messages
Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform without authorization

6. Scores & Tournament Data

Scores submitted through the platform are intended to be accurate representations of actual golf performance. Tournament results, leaderboards, and statistics are generated based on the data submitted by users and administrators. CTP does not independently verify scores and is not responsible for inaccurate data entry. Club administrators retain the right to modify or disqualify scores at their discretion.

7. Side Games & Prize Pools

CTP provides tools for clubs to organize side games with buy-ins and prize distributions. CTP does not handle or process any financial transactions — all monetary exchanges related to side games, entry fees, and prize pools are managed directly between the club and its members. CTP is not responsible for the collection, distribution, or disputes related to any funds.

8. Intellectual Property

The CTP platform, including its design, code, logos, and content, is owned by Closest to the Pin and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as profile pictures and club images). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the platform as needed to provide our services.

9. Public Club Pages

Clubs may enable a public-facing page that displays club information, photos, and upcoming events. Administrators are responsible for the content published on their public page and must ensure they have the right to share any images or information displayed. Public pages are accessible without authentication.

10. Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

CTP is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Closest to the Pin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate scores, or missed tournament registrations.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Club administrators may remove members from their club at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
